InHouse Dental
Why InHouse
A platform-first approach: practices run their own plans, with control and transparency built in.
Built by a practice owner • UK-first • Direct Debit via GoCardless
What practices actually care about
Control: Your policies, your pricing, your decisions.
Cashflow: Predictable collections and visibility.
Savings: Remove per-patient admin layers.
Trust: Direct Debit shows the practice name.
We are not a plan provider. The practice is.
Traditional plan providers operate as the “scheme owner”: they set rules, impose processes, and often make decisions on behalf of the practice. InHouse Dental takes a different approach — we provide the platform so practices can operate their own membership plans.
Practice-led decisions (headline difference)
InHouse Dental does not make decisions on behalf of practices.
  • We do not automatically cancel Direct Debits after a set number of failures.
  • We do not end memberships due to blanket rules.
  • We surface what’s happening clearly — and the practice decides what happens next.
Why this matters
Practices vary in how they support patients. Software should support judgement, not override it.
No bundled insurance or emergency cover
InHouse Dental does not bundle insurance or worldwide emergency cover. If a practice wants to include these, they can arrange them independently and decide how to offer them within their plans.
No patient sign-up fees
Traditional providers often charge patients a joining fee (commonly around £10), sometimes tied to bundled insurance administration. InHouse Dental does not charge patients to sign up.
Instead, practices pay a one-off onboarding fee that covers real setup work: configuration, plans, Direct Debit, staff setup and migration guidance.
Transparent costs
GoCardless charges standard Direct Debit processing fees. The difference is that InHouse Dental removes the per-patient monthly admin layer common in traditional provider models.
